And you can never escape this."The first kill was never easy. It left him with nightmares for months, screaming and crying in his sleep, begging for forgiveness that would never come. He was merely fifteen when he first shed blood with his own hands. The victim was someone from a lowborn family, a young man who unluckily had an affair with the wife of an important man in the government (name classified). The media was silenced, the death was concluded as suicide - with his body found in Hangang River days after his disappearance.

"I wouldn't mind being the government's dog. As long as they don't touch my family, friends, or loved ones."It took him two years until he finally made peace with the dark truth of his family. It was never a choice in the first place, given the fact that it had been going on for generations. His father never had the choice to walk out either - once he tried to escape, but it resulted in the death of his friends. His family then made a pact with those who use their services.

1. The government shall never harm the ones protected by the family;

2. The family wouldn't take jobs involving affairs with other countries;

3. The family will not take any responsibility if information got leaked out from the government's side;

4. Jobs will only apply to the ones in control of each area, other members shall not interfere outside their territory unless permitted;

5. The family does not take small errands like being bodyguards. Their job is to clean the mess, not to babysit government officials;

6. Payments can be discussed, but shall not be reduced or taken back after service.

"Our conditions are absolute. If you don't think you can fulfill it, don't bother asking for our service. We aren't your babysitters nor slaves. The title 'government's dog' exists solely to satisfy your unquenchable greed. If you try to protest, we might as well wipe the floor with your blood."The Government's Loyal Dogs usually operates under the radar, often executes their targets in the basement of their quarter or somewhere deserted and hidden from the public eye. It would then be arranged as a missing person or suicide scenario. The family has access to all government databases whenever the mission requires it, as well as security cameras all over each of their own territories. Currently, Caden is responsible for the districts of Gangnam, Gangdong, and Songpa. His sister is responsible for Seocho, Gwanak, and Dongjak - while their father takes care of the rest of Seoul. Their family spreads all over South Korea, but their main controls are Seoul, Incheon, Ulsan, Busan, Gwangju and Gangwon.

Caden runs a pub in Gangnam, DISTRICT 9, one of his biggest sources of income while he's not out for contracts. The pub is used as a location for information brokers to exchange news for a price, or weapon traders to make deals. It is a safe, no killing zone for illegal traders and contractors from all over South Korea to mingle within the underworld society - with a guarantee for safety and harsh consequences for those who dare to break the rules. This pub is supervised by Caden, his mother Eleanor, and his sister Chelsea - with members of their family as staff.

DISTRICT 9 pubs spread all over South Korea in the five main control districts, each run by the family assigned to it. It is an absolute neutral, no killing zone with no second chances or tolerance for rule breakers. While general public and government officials are welcome to use the service, there are special rooms for members of criminal underworld - using special gold coins as its entry fee. District 9 keeps your confidentiality tight within the community. It will, however, do whatever it takes to eliminate the existence of those who pose as threats to the family.
